The forecast and alerts travel through Hehku Cloud. Your phone can be anywhere. It can even be switched off.
Hehku Cloud works out when to take the meat off the heat. You see the estimate on your phone wherever you are.
The bridge has a screen of its own. See the temperature as you walk past.
The dock talks to the bridge over Bluetooth, which uses less power than Wi-Fi. The dock can sit by the grill while the bridge stays indoors on its charger.
The bridge remembers up to eight Wi-Fi networks. Plug it in at the cabin and it connects by itself.
Works with older docks too. Link up to four docks to one bridge.
Send a live link and family and friends can see the temperature and when the food will be ready, right in a browser. No app or account needed.
The bridge stays in touch with the dock for the whole cook. Your phone shows the cook from Hehku Cloud, at home or at the shop.

The dock receives the readings from the probe, as before.

Plug the bridge into a USB charger. The app finds it by itself. Pick your home Wi-Fi and link the docks to the bridge.

Hehku Cloud runs the forecast and sends the alerts to your phone, wherever you are.
Shared cooking
Send the cook as a link. A friend, your partner or the grill master next door sees the same temperature, stage and estimate that you do – in a browser or in the Hehku app.
Start the cookPick what you are cooking and how you want it, as always.
Share a live linkChoose at the same time whether they can only watch or also change the target and the alerts.
The link opens in a browserNo app and no account needed. The link works on a phone and on a computer. You can also share the thermometers permanently with another Hehku account, a partner for example. They then see your cooks without a separate link and get the alerts in their own language. Your own phone and tablet see the same cook without any sharing, as long as both are signed in to the same Hehku account. A second phone can also act as a bridge. Leave it at home near the thermometer, and follow and adjust the cook on your own phone wherever you are.
Ham in the oven in the morning, then off to the shop, the gym or the kids' practice. Your phone always shows when the ham will be ready. You are home in time to take it out of the oven at just the right moment.

Shows temperatures and alerts. Pick a layout in the app: the cook, two probes or one big reading. Each probe has the same number and colour as in the app.
The bridge hears the dock over long-range Bluetooth and passes the readings to your home Wi-Fi.
A USB stick that stays on its charger. No battery to remember.
Start, adjust or end a cook from another phone, or in a browser at hehku.app.
Send the family a link and they see the same temperature and estimate. No app needed.
The cook is saved to your account, even with your phone switched off.
An old phone left at home on its charger works as a bridge too. Hehku Bridge is the surer choice: it does not switch off, run down a battery or get closed by accident. The forecast and alerts run in Hehku Cloud, so nothing at home can let you down.

Yes. The bridge supports both older and Gen 2 docks.
The cook carries on. The forecast, resting time and alerts are all calculated in Hehku Cloud. Notifications arrive when your phone is back online.
Yes. Connect the probes to an old phone signed in to the same Hehku account and leave it at home on its charger. From your own phone you start, follow and adjust the cook. The phone at home has to stay on and online for the whole cook. Do not swipe the app closed on it. The bridge is easier: it is always on, and the forecast runs in the cloud.
Yes. The bridge remembers up to eight Wi-Fi networks. Add the cabin network once and the bridge connects to it by itself from then on.
No, the opposite. The dock talks to the bridge over Bluetooth, which uses less power than Wi-Fi. The bridge itself runs on its charger.
2.4 GHz carries through walls better. Nearly every home router broadcasts it.
No. The bridge needs an internet connection. Without one, follow the cook on your phone as before.
No. Hehku Cloud and the app are free.
No. The bridge runs on an ordinary USB-A phone charger, the kind most homes already have.
In a socket between the kitchen and the grill. The fewer walls between the dock and the bridge, the better.
