The application exits from the background with a few seconds’ delay if all cooking sessions are completed and no active cooking or resting phases are in progress.
If the green light on the dock does not stay on continuously, but instead for example blinks, try the following instructions
First, make sure that the dock has enough power, and close the app on your phone before proceeding.
1. Remove the meat thermometer from the dock for at least 10 minutes.
2. Place the meat thermometer(s) into the dock while the dock is in OFF mode and without the USB cable connected to the dock. The red light should now turn on (not blink). Charge the meat thermometer for 5 minutes, or until the red light turns off. If the red light doesn’t turn on at any point, try adjusting the meat thermometer in the dock and ensure that the charging contacts on the probe and the tip of the thermometer are making proper contact.
3. Now, switch the dock to the ON position. The dock may blink a green light for a moment, after which the green light should stay on. In any case, the green light should now remain on continuously.
4. Open the app. The app should find the repeater and, consequently, the meat thermometer(s). You can also hold the probe of the meat thermometer in your hand at this point to help it send temperature data continuously and be found more quickly.
If this does not happen, contact our support team. If the green light stays on, proceed with troubleshooting in the app.
